Hilary practises principally in professional indemnity insurance law, and has more than 15 years' experience defending claims against solicitors and barristers.
Overview
Hilary's experience extends to claims against other insured professionals and broader commercial litigation, including advising in relation to joint venture and unit holder disputes.
Hilary regularly advises in relation to negligence, breach of contract, solicitor's equitable duties, proportionate liability, the Australian Consumer Law, and the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).
Admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Victoria on 18 May 2005, Hilary is also admitted to practice in the High Court of New Zealand and the Federal Court of Australia.
