Overview
Brendan is responsive, commercial and value driven. He is interested in his clients, their businesses and industries. He applies his expertise in property rights, complex contractual and commercial matters, land disputes and development of large strata schemes to drive solutions focused outcomes for his clients.
He works on property related issues regarding major commercial, industrial, residential, tourism and agricultural projects throughout Australia. His clients include property developers, construction companies, hotel operators, strata owners' corporations, builders, local and foreign investment funds, NSW government corporations, listed entities and charities. He enjoys applying his industry knowledge and utilising his networks to drive commercial value for his clients across all aspects of the project life cycle.
Brendan is recognised as a property law expert and a leader in the field by his peers and the industry. Brendan has earned a ranking in Chambers and Partners 2025 Asia-Pacific for Real Estate. He was also listed as a recommended Property and Real Estate Lawyer (NSW) in the 2016 to 2018 editions of Doyle's Guide. Brendan is an elected councillor of the Urban Development Industry of Australia (NSW) and the Royal Agricultural Society of NSW.
Brendan regularly publishes legal articles on current trends and prepares government submissions on policy issues affecting his clients and the wider Australian property industry.
Brendan holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws. He was admitted as a solicitor in the ACT on 1 December 1997 and in NSW in 2000. He is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW, Federal Court and High Court of Australia.
