About the role:
We are seeking a casual paralegal to join our Insurance Group in our Brisbane office, working 3 or 4 days per week. You will work closely with this dynamic team across a broad spectrum of professional indemnity, general liability, and general insurance matters. You will be responsible for:

- Conducting searches and inquiries
- Updating legal database records
- Conducting effective legal research and analysis to assist in producing timely, commercial and legally accurate advice
- Managing a robust workload, including prioritising work and delivering services effectively
- Developing an understanding of client operations and strategy
You will be supported in this close knit group, given training, mentoring and guidance from your peers and leader. You will need to be self-motivated and adaptable in this dynamic environment. Ideal background and skills include:
- Prior experience as an Insurance Paralegal (not essential but highly regarded)
- Ideal role for law students with an interest in this area
- Excellent deadline management skills with the ability to adjust and manage flexible priorities
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to relate to people at all levels and effectively work in a team
