Morgan joined Colin Biggers & Paisley's corporate and commercial team in 2021 following the merger with Logie-Smith Lanyon Lawyers, providing enhanced depth and capability to our Melbourne and national corporate and commercial offering.
Overview
Morgan offers broad corporate and commercial expertise specialising in transactions, technology and IP/IT.
Morgan has experience in both the Sydney and Melbourne markets, and advising clients locally and overseas including on cross-border transactions. Morgan's clients range from larger established corporates to SMEs, start-ups and individuals.
Morgan's corporate advisory work includes handling various structural and commercial arrangements, including structuring start-ups, restructuring established businesses, fundraisings, asset and equity transactions, share schemes and advising on corporate governance, compliance and other operational matters.
In the technology space, Morgan advises on technology and telecommunications related procurement and outsourcing (including service agreements, SLAs, SOWs), and on media and communications matters, and investments in technology. Morgan is also experienced in working with clients to commercialise and protect their IP including licensing, acquisitions and litigation.
Morgan was admitted to practice in NSW on 27 May 2005. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (First Class Honours) and a Bachelor of Economics.
