Overview
With over 25 years' experience, Connie is a corporate, infrastructure and project lawyer specialising in the ports, real estate and marine logistics industries.
Connie has extensive experience in corporate transactional work including structuring, joint ventures, share sales and purchases, transaction strategies, corporate restructuring, FIRB, due diligence and corporate governance work.
Connie is particularly highly regarded for her work in managing the acquisition, restructuring and disposal of container terminal portfolios, having worked on over 45 ports and terminals projects in China, Australia, Belgium and Africa.
In addition, Connie regularly advises clients on corporate property transactions including property trusts, structures, option deeds, development agreements, partition arrangements and unincorporated property joint ventures.
Before joining Colin Biggers & Paisley, Connie practiced with leading international firms in Australia and mainland China. She has lived and worked in Beijing and Shanghai and has worked extensively on inbound and outbound Chinese investment projects, giving her a unique understanding of the key elements required for a successful cross-border transaction between Australia and China.
Connie was admitted to practice in December 1999. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Sydney.
