National legal practice Colin Biggers & Paisley promotes four across key industries

Colin Biggers & Paisley continues to recognise top talent across it's areas of focus, including the elevation of one Brisbane based lawyer to partner in the Planning Government Infrastructure and Environment group and three Sydney based Insurance lawyers to Senior Associate.


Effective 1 January 2025, Nadia Czachor will be promoted to partner in the Planning Government Infrastructure and Environment (PGIE) group, with the following lawyers also recognised for their expertise and leadership at the practice.

The current round of promotions and appointments reflect Colin Biggers & Paisley's continued focus on core areas including insurance, construction, corporate advisory and the property industries.

Commenting on the promotions, Nick Crennan, Managing Partner, stated:

Nadia has over 20 years' experience as a solicitor, with extensive experience in conducting complex planning and environment litigation, as well as drafting infrastructure agreements and local planning instruments, and advising in respect of planning, environmental and local government law. She has significant experience in planning litigation and advising on planning law for both public and private sector clients.

Jessica's practice focuses exclusively on insurance and her experience includes, defending public liability, property damage and professional indemnity claims, advising on indemnity disputes and recoveries, and as part of the team defending a multimillion consumer class action. Her clients include major Australian and international insurers. 

Tara is part of the Financial Institutions Directors and Officers (D&O) team, and provides coverage advice in insurance matters, with a focus on securities class actions, claims against financial institutions and consumer class actions. She has also acted in defence of claims brought against various professionals.

Kate's experience spans D&O coverage, class actions, and disputes involving some of Australia's largest insurers and financial services providers. She is experienced in acting as coverage counsel for large insurers in complex D&O claims, including shareholder class actions and large scale corporate insolvencies in sectors ranging from banking, logistics, construction and mining. Kate also has proficiency working with faith based institutions and schools on institutional liability and child safeguarding matters.
