Overview
Vijay works with domestic and London market insurers, self-insured entities, claims management companies, brokers and professionals across a wide range of industries.
He has defended both litigated and non-litigated personal injury claims, ranging from simple trip and falls, to product liability, through to complex catastrophic injuries.
Vijay has acted in claims involving both first and third party property damage, including dealing with business interruption and recovery actions. He has also acted in claims arising under professional indemnity policies, with a focus on those involving allied health and medical professionals.
In the 2025 edition of The Best Lawyers in Australia, Vijay is listed as a leading lawyer in Personal Injury Litigation.
Vijay has a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from Griffith University. He was admitted practice in Queensland on 2006, and to the High Court and in NSW in 2015. He has practiced in both Queensland and New South Wales, so can effectively manage litigation in both states.
