Nick is Managing Partner of Colin Biggers & Paisley and a key partner in the Construction & Engineering team. He leads a diverse group of 72 partners and over 450 professionals, delivering legal services across Australia, Asia and globally through our offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.

Nick champions collaboration as a fundamental driver within our practice. By fostering teamwork across our practice groups, teams and offices he ensures we achieve results for our clients and strengthen the relationships that define our practice. Our core values - trust, loyalty, respect, balance and integrity underpin everything we do at Colin Biggers & Paisley.
His expertise is widely recognised. In 2015, Doyle's Guide listed Nick as a recommended construction lawyer NSW. He was also named in Doyle's Guide 2016 and 2018 as a recommended construction and infrastructure lawyer in NSW. In the 2019 to 2025 editions of The Best Lawyers in Australia, Nick is recognised as a leading alternative dispute resolution, and construction and infrastructure lawyer.
Nick holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from The Australian National University and was admitted as a solicitor in New South Wales and to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1987. He is also admitted to practice in the High Court of Australia.
