A highly regarded commercial litigator, Leanne has more than 20 years' experience handling litigated disputes across a variety of industries. She has served as the National Head of the Disputes Resolution team, and is currently leading our Property Disputes & Advisory team.
Overview
Leanne, an expert in commercial dispute resolution, delivers customised advice to her clients on property and development issues, leasing matters, strata regulations, land contracts, and access-related issues. She is well-versed in alternative dispute resolution methods, such as expert determination and mediation, providing her clients with solutions-oriented outcomes tailored to their needs.
Working closely with our transactional team, she handles all aspects of contested business and real estate related matters. Leanne excels in developing strategies and systems to reduce, manage or resolve disputes. If litigation is necessary, she is experienced in dealing with complex disputes, and leads a team of lawyers specialising in dispute resolution.
Leanne works closely with a range of clients from small businesses, landowners, owners corporations, and corporate clients to resolve complex business and property disputes. In partnership with the Australian Institute of Conveyancers, Leanne provides strategic advice and represents AIC members and their clients. She is the client relationship manager for a number of Colin Biggers & Paisley’s key clients.
In 2019, Leanne was a part of the Property Team of the Year, awarded by Lawyers Weekly. In the 2024 and 2025 editions of The Best Lawyers in Australia, Leanne was listed for her expertise in real property law.
Leanne was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 2002 and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of NSW, Federal Court and High Court of Australia. Leanne also appears before the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
