Kate leads the Banking & Financial Services group at Colin Biggers & Paisley and holds a leadership role across the service delivery of our broader commercial offering to clients.

Kate works with clients from the banking, property and construction industries and corporate entities
She has a wealth of experience in banking and finance law with an emphasis on corporate, construction and property finance. Kate provides her clients with strategic advice in the area of real estate and corporate finance. She advises on limited recourse financing, acquisition and construction financing, corporate and syndicated financing and has particular expertise in the hotel, residential and commercial property industries. Kate has experience acting for both lenders and borrowers which provides significant value for clients.
Kate has acted on a number of insolvency work-outs and has a keen focus in the area of distressed debt trading offering her clients solutions focussed outcomes.
She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in addition to her law degree. She became a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency & Turnaround Association in 2014. Kate is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
