A partner since 1999, Jon is practice leader of the Corporate & Commercial team and holds a leadership role across the service delivery of our broader commercial offering.
Overview
Prior to joining Colin Biggers & Paisley, Jon was a partner of a Brisbane-based commercial law firm for over 15 years. He has extensive experience advising clients on all aspects of commercial activities with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, corporate governance and succession planning. Jon provides invaluable strategic advice and direction to clients to identify and manage risk and to leverage opportunities.

Jon was admitted as a solicitor on 27 February 1995 and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) in addition to his law degree.
Jon is a member of the Queensland Law Society, Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) and Governance Institute of Australia.
