With a focus on personal injury insurance and work health and safety claims, George has extensive experience managing casualty and personal injuries claims in the pre-court proceedings process and litigation.


Overview

His expertise includes defending work, health and safety prosecutions and assisting employers undertake reviews of decisions with the workers' compensation regulator.

George also has vast experience managing motor vehicle personal injury claims for insurers in the pre-court proceedings process and litigation.

George is a delegate on the Workers' Compensation Legal Panel, and has experience managing claims for processing, transport, health and retail employers and clients. George has also worked for self-insured aged care and mining clients.

George has advised on Fair Work Commission and Human Rights Commission matters and provided legal presentations for WorkCover Queensland, employers and industry groups with respect to investigating and managing psychiatric injuries, the common law process, retaining evidence, and mitigating damages in common law claims.

In addition to his Bachelor of Laws, George holds a Diploma of Legal Practice and is a member of the Pasifika Lawyers Association of Queensland. George was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland in 2015 and is also admitted in the High Court of Australia.
