Conor is a senior associate in Colin Biggers & Paisley's Wills, Estates & Succession Planning team, who provides comprehensive guidance and holistic advice to clients, to implement effective strategies in relation to personal estate and incapacity planning as well as business and trust succession.
Overview
Conor safeguards and facilitates the protection, management, and seamless transfer of his clients' personal and business assets in accordance with their wishes to ensure beneficiaries' interests are protected and businesses can continue to operate effectively.
He assists clients to obtain grants of probate, letters of administration and reseals, and advises and assists executors and administrators to observe their obligations while efficiently administering estates in accordance with wills or under intestacy.
Conor also supports businesses in devising effective succession plans. This includes drafting corporate powers of attorney, reviewing trust deeds, and evaluating corporate entity structures to optimise their operational efficiency and minimise potential risks.
Incapacity planning is another element of Conor's expertise. He guides clients through the establishment of enduring powers of attorney and appointments of enduring guardians, ensuring that their interests are safeguarded in the event of incapacity.
Additionally, Conor implements robust asset protection strategies for clients including the establishment of family trusts. By carefully considering appointor and trustee succession, Conor helps clients protect their wealth while maintaining control and flexibility over their assets.
Conor was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales on 15 July 2016 and holds a Bachelor of Laws.
