Anthony Landro
Senior Associate
Anthony has been an integral part of Colin Biggers & Paisley's Planning Government Infrastructure & Environment group since 2017 and advanced to senior associate in 2022. He works with a diverse range of clients, including private developers, industry associations, corporations, local councils, and individual landowners.
Overview
Anthony's primary focus is on compulsory land acquisitions. He manages all stages of the acquisition process, from pre-acquisition negotiations to post-acquisition litigation. He has worked on major infrastructure projects such as the Sydney Gateway, M12 Motorway, Sydney Metro West, and HumeLink.
In addition to his work on land acquisitions, Anthony provides comprehensive advice on planning and environmental issues related to various property developments, including rezoning projects and commercial, mixed-use, industrial, and residential developments. Known for his strong technical expertise and dispute resolution skills, Anthony has also represented clients in neighbourhood tree disputes at the Land and Environment Court.
Anthony has beeen recognised in his field as a Finalist in Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 awards for 2024, and was listed as a Rising Star in the 2024 edition of Doyles Guide for NSW Planning and Environmental Law.
Anthony holds a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours and a Bachelor of Engineering Science (Civil). His background in property development, particularly in residential and industrial projects, gives him a unique perspective in his legal practice. Anthony was admitted to practice in 2018.
