A special counsel in the Corporate & Commercial team since 2023, Amy has a deep understanding of the complexities involved in corporate and commercial and tax matters.
Overview
Her corporate and commercial experience extends to mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructures, and cross-border financing. She has extensive expertise in all areas of tax including income tax, GST, and stamp duty. She also assists clients in managing tax reviews and audits with Australia Taxation Office and state revenue offices.
Amy advises a range of clients including multinational corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, private equity firms, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals in various industries in particular in property development, construction and debt funds.
Clients value Amy's multidisciplinary approach and practical expertise when advising on major corporate transactions. Amy excels in providing comprehensive analysis of all tax issues from the inception and throughout the lifecycle of any transaction.
Amy is a member of the Law Society of New South Wales and the Tax Institute of Australia.
Amy was admitted to practice to the Supreme Court of NSW and High Court of Australia in 2016. Amy holds a Bachelor of Law, Bachelor of Commerce (Economics) and a Master of Law from the University of Sydney. Amy is also a Chartered Tax Advisor awarded by the Tax Institute.
