Tracey joined Colin Biggers & Paisley in 2021 as the Legal Project Director for the Property & Development group. With over a decade of experience working alongside some of Australia's leading property developers, she is committed to collaborating closely with clients.
Overview
Specialising in medium to large-scale off-the-plan projects, Tracey provides comprehensive guidance from due diligence during acquisition to construction, development funding, e-Contracts, and settlements. Her expertise extends to representing both Australian and international clients in a variety of conveyances, including apartments, houses, multi-tower developments, and large commercial/retail spaces. Tracey headed up the Shanghai office of Logie-Smith Lanyon and has acted for a variety of Chinese, Vietnamese and Malaysian clients.
Tracey is skilled in managing all facets of off-the-plan developments, from resolving planning permits, zoning, and heritage issues, to reviewing Section 173 Agreements and negotiating multi-party vendor financing. Tracey handles the day-to-day aspects of developments, including preparing off-the-plan e-Contracts, Plans of Consolidation and Subdivision, Owners Corporation Rules, and overseeing a competent team of solicitors and conveyancers.
In 2022, Tracey was recognized for her significant contributions to the legal industry, receiving the Legal Operations Professional of the Year award at the Lawyers Weekly Women in Law Awards. Her impact is highlighted by clients like Salta Group, who credited her as being "instrumental to the success of the mixed-use residential, commercial, and hotel projects Salta has developed".
