Mollie has been part of the Planning Government Infrastructure & Environment group since 2017 and became a senior associate in 2021. Her expertise includes advising on planning and environmental issues for various property developments, including suburb- scale projects, commercial, mixed-use and residential developments.
Overview
Mollie represents clients in merit appeals, judicial reviews, civil and criminal enforcement matters, assisting them to navigate through the NSW planning system.
Mollie advises on compliance with environmental laws at local, NSW and Federal levels. She is skilled in navigating complex development appeals which often involve intersecting areas of expert evidence. She regularly advises on changes to environmental legislation in NSW. Mollie also has expertise in criminal defence matters in the Land and Environment Court and Local Court.
Mollie also has experience in compulsory acquisition matters, easement disputes, voluntary planning agreements, and adverse possession claims.
Recognised for her contribution to the field, Mollie was nominated as a finalist in Lawyers Weekly 30 under 30 awards in 2023 for planning and environment, and was listed in the 2024 and 2025 editions of The Best Lawyers in Australia - Ones to Watch for Planning and Environmental Law.
Mollie holds a Bachelor of Science (Biology) and Laws (Honours). She was admitted to practice as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW and the High Court of Australia in 2017.
