Jemma's experience spans professional indemnity, directors' and officers', product liability, property damage subrogated recoveries, and general liability, as well as commercial and aviation litigation.
Overview
Jemma has practiced as a solicitor in defendant private practice since 2012, and has regularly appeared in the District and Supreme Courts of New South Wales for various insurers. Jemma practices predominantly in the area of professional indemnity litigation, including claims for a wide range of professionals and organisations.
Prior to being admitted to practice as a solicitor, Jemma practiced for five years as a physiotherapist working in New South Wales public hospitals. This experience assists in advising in respect of claims against health professionals and in particular for advising on complex quantum issues and health related negligence matters.
Jemma was admitted as a solicitor in 2012, and is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. She holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Newcastle in addition to her Juris Doctor from the University of Technology, Sydney.
