Carlos' practice primarily focuses on major projects, construction, finance, and mergers and acquisitions in the property and development sector.
Overview
Carlos' experience includes documenting and advising on major projects, project finance, corporate and commercial transactions, joint ventures and trust matters. He is also a qualified chartered accountant with experience in tax law, including income tax, capital gains tax, goods and services tax, stamp duty, fringe benefits tax and tax reform.
Carlos' clients include corporations, state governments, councils, banks and mining companies.
Carlos is a member of the Law Society of Queensland.
In addition to his Masters of Laws (Honours), Carlos also holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting from the University of Technology Queensland. He was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of Queensland on 15 November 1999 and is also admitted in the High Court of Australia.
