In one of our most important appointments this year, Colin Biggers & Paisley has welcomed renowned insurance lawyer Patrick Boardman and his team comprising of special counsel Susanna Khouri and Antonia Rose, solicitor Ashlee Blannin and legal assistant Victoria Tripi.
Respected across the industry for their work with both Australian and London market insurers on complex directors' and officers' and professional indemnity claims, class actions and complex coverage, Patrick and his team add further depth to Colin Biggers & Paisley’s financial lines offering and its reputation as an insurance practice that leads the market.

Patrick Boardman has worked in insurance litigation in the UK and Australia for almost 30 years. Patrick has extensive experience guiding insurers through high profile class action and shareholder disputes, including Iluka Resources, Crown Resorts, RCR Tomlinson, Star Entertainment, AMP and Westpac. Chambers has consistently ranked Patrick in Band 3 for his insurance expertise.
Susanna Khouri is an experienced insurance and commercial litigation lawyer. Her core areas of practice include directors & officers (D&O) and professional indemnity insurance, with a specialisation in contentious financial lines and insurance coverage matters.
Antonia Rose has almost 20 years' experience in commercial, regulatory and class action litigation as well as acting and advising insurers and insureds. She has acted for a range of insurers and insureds in relation to directors and officers and professional indemnity matters and coverage issues.
